Adulte : corps blanc, tête et manteau gris; tour des yeux rougeâtre ou violacé; couleur du bout des ailes variant géographiquement et selon les individus; iris variant de jaune clair à brun; bec jaunâtre avec un point rougeâtre sur la mandibule.
