La bromation du déaza-3 uracile (hydroxy-4 pyridinone-2) (1) conduit au composé dibromé en positions 3 et 5 (2).

Bromination of 3-deazauracil (4-hydroxy-2-pyridinone) (1) gave the 3,5-dibromo compound (2).

On a obtenu les spectres ESCA des électrons internes de l'uracile et de thiouracile et de quelques analogues méthylés en 1 ou en 3.

ESCA core line spectra have been obtained for uracil, the thiouracils, and some 1-methyl and 3-methyl analogues.
