Ypresian

The Arro System was developed during the Upper Ypresian and it is the first stage of sedimentation rich in sand of the Eocene turbidic Basin.

Le système d’Arro s’est développé au Cuisiens supérieur et représente le premier épisode de sédimentation riche en sable du bassin turbiditique éocène.

At the south of the Ferrera Mountain range, we find a system of dipping faults (known as the Cabezonada-Arro by some authors) from the Ypresian-Lutetian stage. The Atiart dipping fault belongs to this system.

Au sud de la Sierra Ferrera il existe un système de chevauchement (appelé de la Cabezonada-Arro selon part de la littérature) de l’âge Cuisiens-Lutéciens, dont appartient le chevauchement d’Atiart.
