Unlike Northern Burgenland and its immense Pannonian plains, Southern Burgenland, composed of the following districts: Oberpullendorf, Güssing, Jennersdorf and Oberwart, is to a large extent very hilly.

Contrairement au Burgenland du nord et à ses vastes basses plaines, le Burgenland du sud, composé des districts d'Oberpullendorf, de Güssing, de Jennersdorf et d'Oberwart, est très largement vallonné.
