Doch ist weder der Mann ohne das Weib, noch das Weib ohne den Mann in dem HERRN;

Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord.

Und der Mann ist nicht geschaffen um des Weibes willen, sondern das Weib um des Mannes willen.

Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.

Das Weib ist ihres Leibes nicht mächtig, sondern der Mann. Desgleichen der Mann ist seines Leibes nicht mächtig, sondern das Weib.

The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife.

Da sprach Adam: Das Weib, das du mir zugesellt hast, gab mir von von dem Baum, und ich aß.

And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.

Und das Weib, das du gesehen hast, ist die große Stadt, die das Reich hat über die Könige auf Erden.

And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.

Und da der Drache sah, daß er verworfen war auf die Erde, verfolgte er das Weib, die das Knäblein geboren hatte.

And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.

und sie wird sagen: Trinke du, ich will deinen Kamelen auch schöpfen: die sei das Weib, das der HERR meines Herrn Sohne beschert hat.

And she say to me, Both drink thou, and I will also draw for thy camels: let the same be the woman whom the LORD hath appointed out for my master's son.

Und sie sprach: Ach, mein Herr, so wahr deine Seele lebt, mein Herr, ich bin das Weib, das hier bei dir stand, zu dem HERRN zu beten.

And she said, Oh my lord, as thy soul liveth, my lord, I am the woman that stood by thee here, praying unto the LORD.
